Avamere at Sandy - Honored with Zero Deficiencies from the State of Oregon
Assisted Living facilities are regulated by the state and are required to be licensed. During the annual renewal process, the Licensing Division conducts a survey to ensure facility compliance. The survey is comprehensive inspecting both the inside and outside of the facility for hazards, interviewing residents family members and staff, confirming medications are managed properly and reviewing documentation.After the inspection is compete, the surveyor prepares a statement of Deficiencies (“SOD”) for the facility. It’s quite an honor for Avamere at Sandy to receive a ZERO deficiencies report—and it’s even a greater honor to receive ZERO deficiencies for two separate operating units at the same time.
